I must take My leather gloves off and bid farewell to one of My favorite actresses of all time -- the unbelievably sexy, one-of-a-kind Lauren Bacall who passed away this last month. Ever since I saw her in To Have and Have Not, I was swept away by her irresistible femininity, her take-no-prisoner approach to seduction, and her unapologetic straightforwardness. Her inimitable style embodied class, yet hints at a masculine undertone to complement her tough broad demeanor. Bold, elegant, and with a stunning face that melts and kills, she was a Dominatrix in My book. They just don't make actresses like her anymore. Her no-BS and in-your-face attitude, mixed with her poisonous charm belong to a bygone era. She possessed both sophistication as well as a rawness about her that made her human and vulnerable.
She was My kind of Woman. Rest in peace.
Below is My favorite Lauren Bacall scene, from her movie with Humphrey Bogart To Have and Have Not.
It brilliantly illustrates the power that Women have over men.
